Evaluation
Here are my final four illustrations from a project which i did in 2nd year. My project was too design a capsule collection, and the final four illustrations were too show off the outfits. I based my project on the theme equestrian as I felt this theme suited the trend for that season. Looking at my drawings last year compared to this year i can see i have improved using coral draw and photo shop. I have a better understanding on how to use the tools and the benefits of each one. If i didn't know how to work both coral draw and photo shop, then i would have found this assignment impossible, as the drawings for both illustrators are extremely life like, which means there is a big build up of layers to achieve the overall look. I am really happy with my final piece for this assignment as i can see both illustrators in the girl which i have drawn. I have captured the personality of one illustrator and the design of the other to complete my final drawing.

My Final Piece
Here is my Final drawing which has been inspired by both Hannah Muller and Terry Bradley. The image is of a half naked girl who reminded me of a Terry Bradley style burlesque dancer. I took the drawing and redrew it. I then added tattoos of a butterfly and flowers which i found in a picture of one of Terry Bradleys portraits. I added the tattoos to the back of the girl, as this was bare skin. I then redrew the image on coral draw so that the lines were all straight, and using the three point tool it allowed me to create the waves for her hair. I then took the image and imported it into photoshop. Istarted shadig in the skins. I then started to work on the hair by addding brown and blonde tones. I then started to work on the eyes by creating blue shadows to make them stand out. I made the tights life like, by filling in lace from a real image of a stocking. I shaded in the shoes, and made them into Louboutins which matched the red lipstick the girl is wearing. I then started to colour int he tattoos, making them bright so that they stand out. I then added the cheekbones to the face and the blue shadowing.
Hannah Muller
Hannah Muller takes models and famous girls such as Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I did a drawing of a Hannah Muller style women and used Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as models for the portrait. The Olsen twins are usually the muse for Hannah Muller as she draws her images based on them.
Hannah Muller with a Terry Bradley style eye
This is an image i did using a Hannah Muller type model and combining the eye with a Terry Bradley style. I added the make up Terry Bradley would do on one of his burlesque dancers. This completely changed the image of the girl, making her look innocent with heavy bags under her eyes, sculpted cheekbones and dark make up.
Terry Bradley Eye
Here is a drawing I did of an eye which is inspired by Terry Bradley. I took the drawing an by using coral draw outlined the eye and imported the image into photoshop. I then filled in the skin tone and shadows across the eye. I then added the dark make up, and blended it with purple. I then did another copy and added the cheekbones to the image along with a heart
Terry Bradley
Terry Bradley paintings are famous for their tattoos. Terry Bradley adds tattoos to his drawings to add to their dark and mysterious character. The tattoos will be of flowers, stars, hearts, butterflies. The tattoos are a contrast to the personally of the women in the painting. I did my own drawing of a Terry Bradley dancer, but I made my tattoos a brighter colour using photoshop. This meant they stood out on the model.
Hannah Muller Interpretation
Here is my own interpretation of Hannah Mullers drawing. I begun by drawing the image and sketching it in with shading pastels. This allowed me to find the shadows of the image. I then scanned the image in and fixed the edges using coral draw. I then imported this into photoshop, where I started to shade in the skin tone. This took a lot of time as the picture has to look life like. This meant creating layers of shading to get the right skin tone. I then started working on the eyes. I begun by shading in the eye colour which is blue. I then shaded a deeper shade of blue on to, which then got covered with purple to make the eye stand out. I then used the shadow tool to create a shadow across the eye. when i finished this I started to work on the hair. I wanted the hair to look as real as possible, so i added lots of different brown tones to create layers to build up the hair shape. I then added make up to the girl, to give the face some added character. The girl now looks different than the image Hannah Muller did before. This is because the layers add character and realistic features to the girl, making her seem real. If i was to re do this image i would spend more time adding clothing to this piece instead of just a face. I would also try and add a body to the girl to create a different picture.
